How do you get from the Indirect Gulf Access Area of Hernando Beach to the Direct Gulf Access area of Hernando Beach?

Sarah Hill and Erin Daly explain how to use the Hernando Beach Boat Lift to access the Gulf of Mexico. The Indirect Gulf Access area of Hernando Beach is defined as Central Hernando Beach and Hernando Beach South where you have to go over a lift to access the Gulf of Mexico.

The constraints for using the lift is that your boat has to be less than 25 foot and it can’t have a “T-top” because of the Campanero bridge.

If you are a resident of HB middle section please note that a new lock is installed April 1st of each year requiring a new key.
